The LIHTC Affordable Housing Asset Manager will oversee the performance and compliance of a portfolio of affordable housing properties, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to regulations. Description

  • Manage a portfolio of affordable housing properties under the LIHTC and Section 8 programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all LIHTC and Section 8 regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular financial and operational analyses to optimize property performance.
  • Collaborate with property managers to address operational challenges and implement solutions.
  • Monitor and report on property budgets, financial performance, and occupancy rates.
  • Oversee capital improvement projects and ensure timely completion within budget.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, regulatory agencies, and property teams.
  • Identify opportunities for portfolio growth and operational efficiencies.

Profile

A successful LIHTC Affordable Housing Asset Manager should have:

  • Commutable to NY and the 5 boroughs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in LIHTC or Section 8 programs.
  • Strong knowledge of affordable housing regulations and compliance processes.
  • Proven ability to analyze financial statements and property performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software and tools.
  • A degree in real estate, finance, or a related field is preferred.
