Project Manager- K-12 Construction

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the full life cycle of ground-up K-12 public school construction projects across Palm Beach County. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to join a well-respected firm with a strong pipeline of public sector work.

Our client is a Florida-based general contractor with a long-standing presence in the public construction sector, specializing in educational facilities. With decades of experience delivering high-quality projects on time and on budget, they are known for their collaborative culture, commitment to excellence, and strong relationships with local school boards and municipalities.

Description

  • Manage all phases of ground-up K-12 school construction projects, from pre-construction through closeout.

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and local school district officials to ensure project requirements are met.

  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and documentation in compliance with district and state regulations.

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards.

  • Lead project meetings and provide regular reporting to internal stakeholders and clients.

  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with contract specifications and within designated timelines.

Profile

  • 5+ years of project management experience with a strong background in ground-up K-12 construction for public schools.

  • Proven track record of managing multimillion-dollar education projects from start to finish.

  • Strong knowledge of state and local building codes, especially related to educational facilities.

  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar.

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Job Offer

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $110,000 - $140,000, depending on experience.
