Project Manager- K-12 Construction

Description

• Manage all phases of construction projects for Palm Beach County School District, including preconstruction, budgeting, scheduling, and closeout

• Oversee on-site and subcontractor activities to ensure project deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met

• Serve as the main point of contact for the school district, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders

• Lead internal teams and coordinate with field staff to ensure seamless project execution

• Maintain compliance with all applicable public construction regulations and district requirements

• Prepare and present progress reports, RFI/RFQ documentation, and change orders

Profile

• 5+ years of experience managing public construction projects, ideally within K-12 school systems

• Strong knowledge of Florida building codes and school district procedures

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects or large-scale assignments simultaneously

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar)

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
