The Senior Mechanical Engineer focuses on designing and developing different engineering components for demanding applications across multiple industries. You'll lead projects from concept through production, using advanced modeling and analysis tools to deliver high-performance solutions.

Description
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll work with customer concepts and turn them into manufacturable products, leveraging your expertise in SolidWorks and engineering principles. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, analyze, and prototype components for aerospace, defense, and other high-tech sectors.
- Develop detailed 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks and ASME standards.
- Perform engineering calculations and FEA to validate designs.
- Lead design reviews and support tooling, fixturing, and ECO processes.
Profile
The Senior Mechanical Engineer is a hands-on role that involves being a problem solver with strong mechanical design skills and experience in manufacturing environments. You should be comfortable with advanced modeling tools and have a solid understanding of DFMA principles.
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience, including SolidWorks and PDM.
- Knowledge of FEA, CFD, and thermal analysis; familiarity with PLM tools is a plus.
