Software Development Engineer - Credit Analytics
The Software Development Engineer, Credit Analytics role involves creating automated solutions, developing applications, and designing databases to streamline business processes and enhance reporting procedures. The position also requires generating data visualizations, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with various teams to support credit risk reporting and analysis.

Description
Contribute to the development of automated solutions to streamline business processes and enhance reporting procedures.
Create applications or scripts to implement automation functionalities effectively.
Design databases for efficient information storage, applicable in both relational and non-relational infrastructures.
Develop and optimize workflows and data pipelines to meet risk-related reporting requirements.
Craft data visualizations and dashboards to support ongoing business intelligence initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, document, and resolve data quality issues.
Enhance process improvements including workflow design, documentation, data security measures, and efficiency opportunities.
Partner with credit officers, credit administration, data governance, IT, and business unit representatives to provide thorough data analysis and governance, ensuring new and emerging data needed for portfolio analysis is integrated into credit risk systems.
Drive the automation of report and dashboard generation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and repeatability in credit risk reporting.
Generate periodic and ad-hoc reports on the loan portfolio, utilizing formats such as Qliksense dashboards, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint presentations.
Prepare portfolio reports and analyses, including Key Risk Indicators, exposure, credit rating, concentration, and exception management.
Integrate and utilize data from various sources efficiently and accurately to maintain excellence in risk reporting.
Apply knowledge of risk concepts to detect and rectify inconsistencies in generated reports.
Profile
Skills:
Proficiency in at least one core programming language (e.g., Java, C, C++).
Experience with at least one additional programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, VBA, etc.).
Expertise in one SQL language (e.g., MSSQL, MySQL, SQLite, etc.).
Knowledge:
Strong foundation in computer science programming, system design, and database design.
Fundamental understanding of applied statistics and machine learning.

Job Offer
Associate or AVP level, ranging from $100,000 - $175,000 base salary.
