KYC Screening Analyst
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical KYC Screening Analyst to join our Compliance team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting Know Your Customer (KYC) screening and due diligence checks to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial crime compliance and experience using screening tools.

Our client operates both domestically and internationally, with branches and subsidiaries in over 40 countries.
Description
- Perform name screening and adverse media checks on new and existing clients using internal systems and third-party tools (e.g., World-Check, LexisNexis, Dow Jones).
- Analyze screening alerts and escalate potential matches for further investigation.
- Conduct periodic and event-driven reviews of customer profiles to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of KYC processes and decisions.
- Collaborate with onboarding, relationship management, and compliance teams to resolve KYC-related queries.
- Monitor ongoing transactions and client behavior for suspicious activity and flag for further review where necessary.
- Support remediation and enhanced due diligence (EDD) projects as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices related to AML/KYC and financial crime risk.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in KYC, AML, or financial crime compliance roles.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, FATF guidelines, OFAC sanctions, EU AML Directives).
- Proficiency in screening platforms and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certification (e.g., CAMS, ICA, ACAMS) is a plus.
