VP LevFin Credit Office
As a specialist in leveraged finance credit within our credit risk management division, you'll be at the forefront of our leveraged lending business. This role offers significant interaction with front office colleagues and clients, providing you with exposure to a wide array of leveraged transactions. Your contributions will be vital to the success of our leveraged lending sector as you evaluate and manage complex leveraged finance deals.

Description
As a credit officer specializing in leveraged finance, you'll play a vital role in the bank's leveraged lending franchise. Collaborating with front office colleagues, you'll analyze leveraged transactions, manage portfolios, and ensure compliance with credit policies, governance, and regulations. You'll also contribute to ongoing reporting and participate in internal projects.
Responsibilities
Evaluate and approve leveraged finance transactions such as LBOs, M&A, hold commitments; ensuring alignment with the company's risk appetite.
Conduct thorough due diligence, lead financial modeling and valuation reviews, assess legal terms, and prepare detailed credit proposals for approval, presenting them to credit committees when necessary.
Maintain close collaboration with front office colleagues and clients to manage a diverse portfolio of leveraged transactions, ensuring exposures are consistent with the company's risk tolerance.
Ensure credit approval documents adhere to company policies and relevant regulations.
Collaborate with the Industry Head, credit monitoring team, and front office to manage the hold book.
Assist in audits and regulatory interactions, providing necessary reports.
Manage various internal projects.
Profile
Strong credit risk analysis skills, particularly in leveraged finance, along with expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation techniques
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Familiarity with a wide range of banking products such as revolving credit facilities, term loans, bridge financing, derivatives (e.g., swaps, FX), cash management, and trade finance products.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under time constraints.
Understanding of leveraged finance markets, loan documentation, and regulatory standards.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex transaction structures to stakeholders.
Job Offer
$125,000-$240,000, depending on experience.
