Sr Quality Manager- MULTI SITE- CN/MA

The Sr. Quality Manager will oversee the corporate quality system and quality functions across two manufacturing sites, with a focus on maintaining compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100:2016 standards. This role involves improving manufacturing processes and ensuring consistent quality across both locations.

Description

• Lead and maintain the corporate quality system, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100:2016 standards.
• Oversee quality functions at two manufacturing sites, ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures.
• Conduct audits to identify improvements, drive process enhancements, and boost product quality.
• Lead cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Analyze quality performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Facilitate effective communication between sites on quality-related matters.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to keep the quality system effective.
• Manage customer and third-party audits, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in quality management, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100:2016 standards.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain robust quality systems.
• Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to travel regularly between North of Boston and Eastern Connecticut.
• US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency required.
• Basic understanding of Mechanical Drawings (GD&T).
