My client is a reputable General Contractor based in Washington DC, specializing in a diverse range of projects including schools, parks and recreation facilities, renovations, upgrades, and new construction. Their largest client is DGS. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on delivering high-quality projects, we are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our team.

Description

  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and records
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Assist in resolving any issues or delays that may arise during construction
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • Previous experience in construction project management or related role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
