Head of Operations for the Property Management side of a Real Estate Developer and GC

Client Details

Our client is an Owner Operated Property Manager that focuses on properties in the Miami Dade Area. They have a growing portfolio of properties in the area.

Description

• Managing the facilities maintenance processes and maintenance team (40 people)
• Staying on top of preventative maintenance of properties
• Managing tenant relations: Communicating with tenants, addressing concerns or issues, and ensuring a high level of tenant satisfaction.
• Leasing and marketing: Advertising available units, screening potential tenants, and negotiating lease agreements.
• Property maintenance: Coordinating regular maintenance and repairs, managing contractors, and ensuring that the properties are well-kept.
• Budgeting and financial management: Developing and managing property budgets, collecting rent, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Compliance: Ensuring that all properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including fair housing laws.
• Reporting: Providing regular reports to property owners or management on the performance of the properties.
• Oversee 7+ other property managers and responsible for their annual reviews

Profile

• The ideal candidate will have significant experience in property management (10 + years)
• Vast experience with preventative facilities maintenance
• Strong leadership skills
• Track record of driving results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Experience managing at least 5 direct reports in property management
• A deep understanding of the Florida real estate market and regulations is highly desirable.
