Description

The Quality Manager - Electronics Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001, IPC, and customer-specific standards.
• Oversee inspection, testing, and auditing processes to ensure incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods meet quality specifications.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes for internal and customer-reported nonconformances.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to address quality concerns and implement process improvements.
• Manage internal and external audits, including ISO, customer, and regulatory audits.
• Maintain quality documentation, including control plans, FMEAs, work instructions, and test procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality tools.
• Train and mentor quality team members and production staff on quality standards and procedures.
• Communicate quality performance metrics and report on trends, issues, and opportunities to senior leadership.
• Support supplier qualification and ongoing vendor quality performance.

Profile

The ideal Quality Manager - Electronics Manufacturing will have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in a quality leadership role within an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IPC-A-610, and other applicable standards.
• Familiarity with surface-mount technology (SMT), PCB assembly, and electronics testing methods.
• Experience leading audits and managing QMS systems.
• Proficiency in quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, control charts, and root cause analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Certifications such as CQE, CQA, Six Sigma are preferred.

Job Offer

The successful Quality Manager - Electronics Manufacturing will be rewarded with the following:

• Base Salary of $90,000-$130,000 depending on experience
