Mu client is urgently looking to hire a Lead Architect to join them on their team out of Boston, MA! They are a Design Build firm working on a diverse range of projects throughout the Greater Boston area. This role offers a supportive team, tight-knit culture, and fast track to promotion.

My client is abdesign build firm that has been in business for over 25 years. They have an impressive reputation in New England, handling a variety of projects, focusing on Ground Up/ New Construction.
Description
The Lead Architect will be responsible for:
- Design Leadership: Developing initial design concepts, aligning with the client's vision, budget, and project requirement
- Collaboration and Coordination: Be able to communicate directly with clients, comfortable in a client facing role. Collaborating with engineers, interior designers, and consultants to align designs.
- Project Oversight: Being able to lead and oversee a team of around 15 employees. Ensure time lines and quality standards are met.
- Budgeting and Scheduling: Assisting with project cost estimating by aligning designs with financial constraints. Managing design schedules to align with overall time lines.
- Business Development: Supporting the Contractors business development efforts by presenting design capabilities to prospective clients.
Profile
The Lead Architect will have:
- 5+ years in an Architect position
- Must be a Registered Architect in MA
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture or a related field
- LEED Accreditation is a nice to have
- Strong focus in design build, nice to have experience directly in Downtown Boston
- Construction Knowledge
- Experience with architecture and construction softwares, such as AutoCAD, Sketchup and Revit
- Familiar with Procore, Bluebeam or similar platforms
- Experience managing a team
- Experience being client facing
