My client is abdesign build firm that has been in business for over 25 years. They have an impressive reputation in New England, handling a variety of projects, focusing on Ground Up/ New Construction.

Description

The Lead Architect will be responsible for:

• Design Leadership: Developing initial design concepts, aligning with the client's vision, budget, and project requirement
• Collaboration and Coordination: Be able to communicate directly with clients, comfortable in a client facing role. Collaborating with engineers, interior designers, and consultants to align designs.
• Project Oversight: Being able to lead and oversee a team of around 15 employees. Ensure time lines and quality standards are met.
• Budgeting and Scheduling: Assisting with project cost estimating by aligning designs with financial constraints. Managing design schedules to align with overall time lines.
• Business Development: Supporting the Contractors business development efforts by presenting design capabilities to prospective clients.

Profile

The Lead Architect will have:

• 5+ years in an Architect position
• Must be a Registered Architect in MA
• Bachelors Degree in Architecture or a related field
• LEED Accreditation is a nice to have
• Strong focus in design build, nice to have experience directly in Downtown Boston
• Construction Knowledge
• Experience with architecture and construction softwares, such as AutoCAD, Sketchup and Revit
• Familiar with Procore, Bluebeam or similar platforms
• Experience managing a team
• Experience being client facing
