Description

  • As the Senior Internal Auditor you will conduct comprehensive audits of internal financial and operational processes to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Analyze data to identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations for management.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand business operations and risks.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, standards, and industry regulations.
  • Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing.
  • This role is on site and based in Portland, TX.

Profile

A successful Senior Internal Auditor should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Four plus years of experience in Internal Audit from a large manufacturing environment or statutory audits with one of the Big 4 (Deloitte, KPMG, EY, or PWC).
  • Knowledge of auditing standards and practices, including GAAP or IFRS.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • This role is on site based in Portland, TX.
  • They will relocate someone within the United States.
