Junior Superintendent - Maine-based Commercial GC

Southern Maine-based Commercial General Contracting firm seeking a proactive and organized Assistant Superintendent to help manage construction schedules and ensure projects are completed on time.

Description

Responsibilities Include:

• Create and manage project schedules to meet deadlines and budget.
• Meet with clients to understand their construction needs.
• Coordinate building inspections with the Building Inspector.
• Work closely with the Construction Manager and Project Manager to oversee daily activities.
• Update and maintain project reports in the company database.
• Attend meetings to ensure smooth project management.
• Ensure construction sites are properly equipped and staffed.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops for skill development.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed on-site.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and the team, fostering strong relationships.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent in construction.
• Strong time and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically and mentally strong.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to travel.
• Proficient in technical and computer skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
