Senior Project Manager- Commercial Construction

Description

• Manage the full project lifecycle, from preconstruction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Lead and coordinate teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff, to maintain high-quality standards and ensure safety compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
• Oversee procurement processes and manage contracts to mitigate risks and resolve disputes effectively.
• Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and executive leadership.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 10 years of project management experience in commercial construction, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• A strong understanding of Florida's construction codes, safety regulations, and permitting processes.
• A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in construction software and project management tools, such as Procore or Primavera.
