Senior Project Manager
As a Senior Project Manager in the property industry, you will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position is based in Suffolk County, Long Island and requires a proactive individual with a strong background in construction project management.

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team.
Description
- Lead all phases of construction projects, including pre‑construction, bidding, scheduling, procurement, construction oversight, and closeout.
- Manage multiple large-scale K‑12 projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for school districts, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and cost tracking tools.
- Oversee subcontractor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with New York State Education Department (NYSED) requirements, safety regulations, and district standards.
- Conduct regular site visits, progress meetings, and quality-control inspections.
- Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports.
- Mentor and supervise project engineers, assistant project managers, and field staff.
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.

Profile
A successful Senior Project Manager should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; or equivalent industry experience.
- 5+ years of construction project management experience, with at least 5 years in K‑12 school or public-sector construction in New York.
- Strong knowledge of NYSED processes, public bidding requirements, and prevailing wage regulations.
- Proven track record managing complex projects over $10M.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
- Ability to travel to job sites across Long Island.
