Position Overview: Assistant Project Manager
My client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced project managers on large-scale multi-family and commercial construction projects ranging from $20 million to $60 million.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for construction, strong organizational skills, and a desire to grow within a collaborative, family-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support project managers in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Review and track project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and progress reports.
Collaborate with project teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to address issues and maintain quality standards.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety and construction protocols.
Help maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and proactive problem-solving.

Profile
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in construction management, ideally on multi-family or commercial projects.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
