My client is seeking an experienced and driven DSA Project Manager to lead the successful planning and execution of K-12 school construction projects across California. This role will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring strict compliance with DSA (Division of the State Architect) requirements, timelines, and budgets.

Description

Key Responsibilities for Project Manager - DSA Construction in Long Beach:

• Lead the end-to-end management of public school building and construction and modernization projects.

• Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, including school districts, architects, engineers, contractors, and DSA representatives.

• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables from design through closeout.

• Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, DSA regulations, and client standards.

• Manage bidding and procurement processes in coordination with the client team.

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and quality.

• Identify and resolve issues that may impact scope, schedule, or cost.

Profile

A Successful Project Manager - DSA Construction in Long Beach:

• 7+ years of project management experience in K-12 public school construction.

• Strong knowledge of DSA regulations and project delivery processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

• PMP or CCM certification is a plus.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
