Capital Markets QA Engineer
We're seeking a QA Engineer with Capital Markets experience to join our client's Operations Team. This hands-on role involves testing front-end and back-end applications, developing test strategies, and automating tests, with experience in Broker/Dealer products, including Equities and Fixed Income.

Description
Responsible for testing applications supporting the Markets business, ensuring all functionality works seamlessly across the system.
Create test strategies, provide test estimations, write and run test cases, and build test automation where applicable.
Work closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and facilitate the creation and execution of both manual and automated test scripts.
Perform data analysis, create test data, track defects, and ensure all testing is conducted and documented according to the Firm's standards.
Profile
Experience with Broker/Dealer products: Must have experience working with securities processing, including Equities and Fixed Income products, and familiarity with Broadridge applications like Impact and BPS.
Experience in Operations projects: 8 to 12 years of experience in delivering Operations-related projects, including familiarity with processes, controls, and working with Front Office booking systems like Bloomberg.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies: Proven knowledge of QA processes, SDLC (Agile and Waterfall), and hands-on experience in Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Execution, and Defect Management.
Technical proficiency: Strong SQL knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server) and experience with testing tools like JIRA, Test Rail, TestNG, and the ability to review and analyze business requirements.
