Senior Project Manager Commercial Construction - South Florida
- Senior Project Manager for small commercial GC, expanding business to South Florida.

Client Details
This General Contractor has a few offices throughout the US, looking to open in South Florida. They actively have work locally in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County. They focus in general commercial work with a few upcoming auto dealerships, hotels, etc. They are looking for a Sr. PM to lead the growth that is happening in this market, offering strong benefits, flexible base salary, and growth in leadership.
Description
Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to align project goals and expectations
Maintain consistent communication with subcontractors and project team members at all levels
Track and report on project budgets, expenses, and profitability
Draft and submit Prime Contracts for owner review and final approval
Oversee and coordinate project documentation and tasks within Procore, including drawings, contracts, invoices, budgets, and meetings
Develop and issue detailed subcontract agreements
Supervise project teams and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
Prepare, process, and track owner billing, pay applications, and change orders
Develop initial project budgets and cost estimates
Lead preconstruction efforts, including managing the bidding process
Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals
Negotiate terms and pricing for subcontracts and project change orders
Develop detailed project schedules and lead regular project meetings
Interpret construction documents, including plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports, with a high level of expertise
Identify potential project challenges and proactively implement solutions using available resources
Provide ongoing support to Superintendents and Project Executives as needed
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, aiming to secure repeat business and future opportunities
Direct and coordinate the entire project team to ensure successful project delivery
Collaborate closely with the Superintendent to keep the project on schedule and on track for success
Profile
- 8+ Years with local general contractors that focus in general commercial construction
- Must have at least 1 year of Construction Management
- Software proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Suite
- Negotiation/ Client Relationship/ Business Development skills
- Deadline and detail oriented.
