Engineering Supervisor - Metals Manufacturing - Milford, NH
This Engineering Supervisor role leads a small team in a development facility, driving a safety-first culture while overseeing process improvement, technical problem-solving, and schedule coordination. The position supports both internal and external projects through hands-on supervision, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven optimization of manufacturing and testing processes.

Description
This role will report directly into the Production Manager and be responsible for
- Champion a safety-first culture by implementing and enforcing safe work practices across the facility.
Supervise a small team of skilled technicians with a range of technical capabilities.
Troubleshoot and resolve process issues related to manufacturing, inspection, and testing of development-stage products.
Coordinate project deliverables to ensure critical milestones are achieved on time.
Develop and refine operating procedures, introduce new equipment, and enhance processing techniques in collaboration with engineering and maintenance teams.
Manage the shop schedule to balance competing priorities from engineering and operations.
Analyze process data to strengthen understanding and control of production methods.
Contribute in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary R&D environment.
Lead internal engineering initiatives and support external technical projects to drive business growth.
Assignments may include materials testing, process development, supervision, and technical reporting, requiring a solid foundation in engineering principles and practices.
Deliver project results efficiently, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
Profile
The successful candidate will have
- 5-7 years of engineering supervising experience
- Mechanical, electrical, and materials engineering familiarity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- MS Office knowledge
- Experience leading a safety-first culture
