Estimator
As a Construction Estimator with strong experience in Local Law 11 (FISP) projects, you will have to be a detail-oriented professional who can accurately assess project costs for private clients, prepare competitive bids, and collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective execution.

Description
- As an Estimator, you will prepare accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bid proposals for exterior construction projects, including façade restoration and Local Law 11 work.
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and site conditions to develop competitive bids.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing for various trades.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and clients to ensure estimates align with project goals.
- Stay up to date with NYC building codes, Local Law 11 requirements, and industry trends.
- Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
Profile
- 3+ years of experience in construction as an Estimator, with a strong focus on façade restoration and Local Law 11 projects.
- Experience with roofing, waterproofing, and exterior construction is a plus.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Planswift, On-Screen Takeoff, Procore).
- Strong knowledge of NYC building codes, DOB regulations, and Local Law 11 compliance.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure.
