The Sr. Corporate Accountant will be a leading player in the development of the logistics firm's accounting department in Manchester, NH area. The Sr. Corporate Accountant will directly oversee and develop the internal controls and processes for the logistics firm. The Sr. Corporate Accountant will support the corporate accounting team, but will have exposure to a global company structure/process.

Description

• Managing the recording, maintenance, and reconciliation of fixed assets across the organization.
• Recording and maintaining prepaid expenses, ensuring accurate and policy-compliant recording.
• Analyzing monthly sales to facilitate revenue recognition and monitoring deferred revenue.
• Performing bank reconciliations and reporting daily cash balances, while assisting senior management in cash flow forecasting.
• Supporting bank reporting by preparing accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) reports for monthly submissions.
• Assisting in the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Preparing assigned balance sheet and profit and loss (P&L) account reconciliations, roll-forwards, and providing relevant analysis.
• Actively participating in audits by coordinating, liaising, and taking responsibility for assigned areas.
• Conducting ad-hoc analysis and providing support for accounting projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Profile

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Previous work with manufacturing firms or plant environment
• CPA preferred
• Public Accounting experience a plus
• Audit experience a plus
• Ability to work independently effectively
