Project Engineer - MEP Experience

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join a leading commercial general contractor based in Miami, Florida. This position will play a key role on a large-scale airport project

Description

• Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with daily project operations, ensuring schedule and quality objectives are met.

• Coordinate MEP systems design, installation, and commissioning with subcontractors, consultants, and owners.

• Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs to maintain project compliance and technical accuracy.

• Support project documentation, including cost tracking, change orders, and progress reports.

• Conduct site visits to monitor MEP installation and ensure adherence to project specifications.

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to proactively identify and resolve technical challenges.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer within commercial or infrastructure construction.

• Proven experience coordinating MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) on large-scale projects.

• Airport or aviation project experience highly preferred.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
