Description

• Develop, implement, and manage safety programs and protocols.
• Conduct safety training and education programs, and demonstrate the use of safety equipment.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure safety regulations are observed at all construction sites.
• Prepare and present safety reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Investigate incidents and accidents to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future.
• Develop policies to ensure the safety of all employees, contractors, and visitors at all company-related facilities.
• Stay updated on current and emerging trends, laws and regulations in the safety and health field.

Profile

• A degree in occupational health, safety, or a related field
• 10-15+ years of safety experience
• Experience implementing safety protocols on projects
• Experience in developing and implementing safety programs and strategies.
• Experience managing projects within the civil and/or water/wastewater space
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction safety principles, techniques, and methods.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• A strong commitment to promoting a safety culture within the organization
