The company has been in operation for over 100 years in the Carolina's construction market, with a specialty in life science, Healthcare, and Pharma projects up to . Description
Reporting into a Vp of Preconstruction, The Senior Estimator will be responsible for:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
- Review and evaluate cost estimates.
- Formulating contingency plans and effectively managing risks that might impact cost and time estimates.
- Present prepared estimates for internal approvals.
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and engineers.
- Monitor industry trends and developments.
- Manage resources to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company standards.
- Provide regular reporting to management on project status.

Profile
A successful 'Senior Estimator' should have:
- 10+ years of Construction estimating experience with a General Contractor.
- Strong time management skills, adaptable with ability to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines, and keen attention to detail
- Experience on Ground up or health care/ Pharma projects preferred
- Excellent knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, and purchasing.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications.
