Description

Reporting into a Vp of Preconstruction, The Senior Estimator will be responsible for:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
• Review and evaluate cost estimates.
• Formulating contingency plans and effectively managing risks that might impact cost and time estimates.
• Present prepared estimates for internal approvals.
• Collaborate with contractors, architects, and engineers.
• Monitor industry trends and developments.
• Manage resources to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company standards.
• Provide regular reporting to management on project status.

Profile

A successful 'Senior Estimator' should have:

• 10+ years of Construction estimating experience with a General Contractor.
• Strong time management skills, adaptable with ability to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines, and keen attention to detail
• Experience on Ground up or health care/ Pharma projects preferred
• Excellent knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, and purchasing.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications.
