Senior Superintendent

I'm working with a long-standing client-a vertically integrated real estate developer with their own general contracting arm-on a high-impact search for a Senior Superintendent to lead a flagship project in Santa Maria, CA.

Our client is a privately held real estate developer and general contractor with deep roots in California's Central Coast. Known for their vertically integrated model, they manage everything from land acquisition and entitlement to construction and delivery-giving them full control over quality, timelines, and vision.

They specialize in multifamily communities and have a strong pipeline of large-scale developments. Their team is tight-knit, collaborative, and focused on building long-term housing solutions that blend smart design with community impact.

This upcoming project in Santa Maria is one of their most ambitious yet-a 1,000+ unit master-planned community that will set a new standard for multifamily living in the region. The first phase includes full infrastructure development and 300 garden-style apartments, and they're looking for a seasoned superintendent to help bring it to life.

Description

• Phase 1: Infrastructure (grading, utilities, streets) + vertical construction of 300 units
• Project Type: Multifamily, garden-style, slab-on-grade
• Timeline: Groundbreaking in Dec '25

• Proven experience in horizontal/infrastructure work-grading, utilities, streets, etc.
• Strong background in multifamily construction as senior superintendent
• Ideally local to the Central Coast or willing to relocate
• Leadership skills to manage field teams, subcontractors, and schedules on a large-scale development

Job Offer

• Base Salary: ~$165,000/year for senior superintendent
