Our client is a leading family-owned General Contractor in the Mid-Atlantic with over 50 years in business. With multiple offices, they focus on multifamily projects ranging from $30M to $100M, with some exceeding $200M. Their steady growth in both revenue and team size has created an opportunity for an experienced Superintendent to join their expanding team. Most projects are located between Falls Church and Richmond.

Description

The Lead Superintendent - Commercial/Multifamily Construction -NoVA will be responsible for:

• Overseeing daily on-site construction operations.
• Enforcing safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Ensuring work aligns with project plans and specifications.
• Coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Collaborating with project managers to maintain schedules.Tracking budgets and managing expenses.
• Proactively identifying and resolving project challenges.

Profile

The Lead Superintendent - Commercial/Multifamily Construction -NoVA will have:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, specifically multifamily projects.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to oversee large-scale projects.
• In-depth knowledge of multifamily building systems, codes, and industry standards.
• Relevant certifications, including OSHA and First Aid/CPR.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team coordination.Proven problem-solving ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
• Experience in scheduling, budgeting, and managing projects around $20 million.
