Assistant Project Manager - Leominster, MA

Description
The APM will be responsible for:
- Project Coordination: Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities to meet project deadlines.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records, including project schedules, budgets, contracts, change orders, submittals, and RFIs (Request for Information).
- Communication: Serve as a point of contact between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Budget Management: Assist in monitoring project budgets, prepare cost reports, and assist in cost control measures to keep projects within financial constraints.
- Quality Assurance: Visit sites as needed with the Project Manager or in lieu of the Project Manager
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve project-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions and delays.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including permitting and safety standards.
Profile
The successful APM will have the following skill set:
- 3+ years of commercial construction experience
- Experience with the client's core market projects
- Procore experience
- Familar with standard construction processes
- Degree in Construction Management or related field
- Excellent communication and team skills
