Electrical Engineer - Power Distribution | UL 891
Client Details
This organization specializes in the design, manufacturing, and delivery of custom electrical power equipment, supporting modern infrastructure and alternative energy applications.Description
- Engineer and design low-voltage power distribution systems, including UL 891 switchboards
- Develop electrical schematics, equipment layouts, and detailed bills of materials
- Apply and ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards, including UL and NEC
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams during fabrication, testing, and final assembly
- Provide technical support during inspections, including UL evaluations
- Contribute engineering expertise to custom, project-specific solutions
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated experience with power distribution systems and associated equipment
- Strong working knowledge of NEC and UL standards
- Proven experience with UL 891 switchboard design (required)
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar electrical design software
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production-focused environment is preferred
