The Construction Sr. Civil Estimator will be responsible for:

  • Prepare accurate and competitive civil, utility, and water/wastewater project estimates.
  • Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and contracts to determine scope and cost.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Estimator/Director of Precon to develop bid strategies and proposals.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
  • Ensure estimates meet project deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Manage and track estimates for public infrastructure projects across Massachusetts.
  • Utilize B2W and HCSS software for estimating and bid management.
  • Assist in maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.

Profile

The Construction Sr. Civil Estimator will possess:

  • 8+ years experience
  • In-depth knowledge of estimating processes and experience withpublic/civil projects
  • Proficient in estimating software such as B2W and HCSS.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Proven ability to develop accurate, competitive bids and manage project costs effectively.
  • Commutable to the Canton office and able to work on projects throughout Massachusetts.

Job Offer

Job Requirements:

The Construction Lead Estimator will be responsible for:

Reporting directly to the Director of Estimating
Working hand-in-hand with the Project Management team
Generating conceptual, schematic, lump sum, GMP, design development, and other types of estimates
Creating and maintaining strong relationships with repeat/potential clients
Attend meetings and contribute to presentations
