• Lead major manufacturing engineering initiatives focused on weld processes, robotic welding, and advanced automation technologies
• Own multi‑year capital projects, typically ranging from $5-10M, taking programs from concept through full production implementation
• Develop, improve, and standardize welding processes to achieve best‑in‑class manufacturing performance
• Serve as the technical subject‑matter expert for welding and related process technologies
• Collaborate closely with product engineering, operations, quality, and IT throughout all phases of project execution
• Evaluate new equipment and technologies, engage with external suppliers, and support integration into existing operation
• Lead cross‑functional teams without direct authority, driving alignment and execution across multiple departments
• Support the broader Advanced Manufacturing Engineering group in modernizing processes and scaling capabilities for long‑term growth
• Participate in occasional supplier visits (approximately 5% travel) to assess weld‑related solutions and technologies

Profile

• Brings deep manufacturing engineering experience with a strong specialization in welding processes and robotic welding
• Has a proven history of leading large‑scale CapEx projects from concept through implementation
• Communicates effectively across engineering, operations, quality, and IT, and can influence without direct authority
• Thrives in a collaborative environment and can drive long‑term, multi‑year initiatives

Job Offer

• Base salary range of $130,000 to $170,000, with the ability to go up to $180,000 for a very senior candidate
• Annual bonus target of 10%, historically paid out and tied to both individual and company performance
