My client is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager to lead the preconstruction phase of complex and high-value projects, ensuring estimates are accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with project requirements. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills to manage multiple large-scale projects and guide cost analysis from concept through design and bidding stages.

Description

  • Oversee all phases of preconstruction, including budgeting, estimating, and planning, to ensure project goals are met before construction begins.
  • Prepare and review detailed cost estimates at various stages (conceptual through final pricing), ensuring accuracy and alignment with project scope.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams to align on design intent, budget, and value engineering opportunities.
  • Participate in client presentations and proposal efforts, contributing to winning new work through strong technical knowledge and relationship-building.

Profile

  • Proven expertise in building and maintaining strong client, architect, and engineer relationships to support successful project execution and future business development.
  • Over 16 years of construction experience, including 10-15 years as a Preconstruction Manager with a successful track record leading teams and securing new work.
  • Active contributor to business development through client meetings, presentations, industry events, and identifying new project opportunities.
  • Highly proficient in key construction software, including Bluebeam, Sage Estimating with strong written and verbal communication skills.
