Michael Page has partnered with a renowned and established general contracting firm, proud to be one of MA's most reputable in the public/Private projects industry. With a rich history spanning several decades, they have earned a stellar reputation for delivering exceptional construction projects. They specialize in Preconstruction/Project Planning, Design-Build, Construction Management, General Contracting, and Self Perform capabilities. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Project Manager to join their dynamic team to work on ground up and renovations projects in the Academic, Public, and commercial sectors. They are doing about $85M in annual revenue on projects up to $50M
Description
- Project Management: Oversee and lead multiple projects simultaneously from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Preconstruction/Project Planning: Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to develop detailed project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Design-Build: Work closely with the design team to develop innovative and cost-effective design solutions, ensuring compliance with client requirements and building codes.
- Construction Management: Direct and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality control, and timely project delivery.
- General Contracting: Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and resolution of issues.
- Self Perform Capabilities: Oversee and supervise in-house construction activities, leveraging our self-perform capabilities to enhance project efficiency and quality.
Profile
- Proven Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of project management experience in the construction industry, with a focus on ground-up projects.
- Construction Expertise: Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices, including preconstruction, design-build, and construction management.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to anticipate challenges and provide effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in project documentation, cost estimates, and project specifications.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
