Our client is looking for a strong Superintendent with experience managing commercial projects in Myrtle Beach! This role is for an extremely reputable client with a large presence in the Myrtle Beach area, dedicated to safety and client satisfaction.

Our client is one of the top contractors in the country doing $400M+/yr, headquartered in Charlotte, NC! This client primarily builds in the education, healthcare, multifamily and educational housing sectors of the market, but they are also active in corporate interiors and other general commercial building. With a large amount of growth over the past 5 years, this exciting team is currently looking for a Superintendent with commercial construction experience to help with projects in the Charlotte market.

Description
The Superintendent- Great Family Like Culture GC - Myrtle Beach will be responsible for:
- Meeting weekly and communicating daily with subcontractors to assess project progress, schedule, changes and deliveries.
- Managing the site through completion.
- Proactively identifying design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project specific issues.
- Attaining a thorough and complete understanding of the Prime Contract, all subcontracts, the drawings, and specifications.
- Enforcing safety protocols to ensure job site consistently meets or exceeds OSHA safety standards.
- Maintaining appropriate documentation throughout the project including change order logs, RFI logs, and submittal lots.
- Communicating daily with owners, tenant reps, construction managers, superintendents and project coordinators to ensure progress toward the common goal is achieved.
Profile
The Superintendent - Great Family Like Culture GC - Myrtle Beach should have:
- 5+ years of construction Superintendent experience with a general contractor is required
- Experience on ground-up education, healthcare, and/or commercial construction projects is required
- Applicable Project Management Software experience preferred
- Maintains good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with anyone from clients to subcontractors
- Must be a business-oriented person and act professionally when representing the employer at any level
- Local to Myrtles Beach preferred, though relocators will be thoroughly considered
Job Offer
The Superintendent - Great Family Like Culture GC - Myrtle Beach will receive:
- Base salary contingent on experience, ranging roughly $100,000-$120,000
- Vehicle or Vehicle Allowance
- Incentivized Bonus Structure
