Innovation Attorney, Litigation & IP
This role leads initiatives to enhance the efficiency and quality of legal service delivery within Litigation and IP through improved processes, technology, and client‑focused solutions. It combines project leadership, legal expertise, and innovation to support teams in adopting new tools, workflows, and data‑driven practices.

Description
- Lead projects that streamline and improve the delivery of legal services in Litigation and IP
- Assess available resources and technology to drive work to the right people, processes, or systems
- Develop digitalization initiatives including automation, data capture, and workflow improvements
- Support data strategy efforts, including tracking matter data and monitoring use of practice resources
- Provide one‑on‑one support for practice resource questions and technology issues
- Vet, pilot, and help onboard legal technology, including generative AI
- Serve as product manager for select technology tools, overseeing rollout, adoption, and ROI measurement
- Promote and train teams on legal technology and generative AI use cases
- Provide individualized support to lawyers on tech adoption, workflow opportunities, and troubleshooting
- Support large litigation docket teams with workflow design, intake, matter management, and reporting
- Build tailored solutions such as dashboards, automation, and budget tracking tools
- Identify and integrate appropriate internal resources and technology platforms
- Develop and enhance client‑facing solutions using practice data, collaboration platforms, and metrics
- Create, maintain, and automate knowledge libraries and experience databases
- Collaborate on sourcing and integrating practice content, including third‑party resources
- Identify opportunities for new content, process improvements, and efficiency gains
- Evaluate legal service delivery using internal data, benchmarking, and market trends
- Educate lawyers and staff on practice content, client solutions, and firm technology
- Communicate with legal teams and administrative staff on innovation projects and efficiency initiatives
- Develop case studies, business development assets, and internal resource pages for the business unit

Profile
A successful candidate should have:
- J.D. with active admission in a U.S. jurisdiction
- At least four years of litigation or IP experience in a large law firm
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and comfort with varied, non‑standardized scenarios
- Familiar with workflow, document, and communication management tools
- Understanding of knowledge management, project/practice management, and efficiency principles
- Highly organized, analytical, and capable of prioritizing multiple projects
- Self‑starter able to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills
- Willing to travel as needed and contribute beyond core responsibilities
Job Offer
- Competitive annual salary ranging from $200,000 to $325,000, commensurate with experience.
