Transaction Monitoring Senior Business Analyst
The Transaction Monitoring Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the development and optimization of transaction monitoring systems within the business services industry. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in technology and a passion for enhancing operational efficiency.

Description
This role is to support and improve transaction monitoring and custody surveillance systems, assisting with enhancement and tuning projects and documenting critical processes and logic changes.
- This role sits between Business, Financial Crimes, & Systems.
- Not a developer or BA specifically, but need aspects of both coding and BA work
Need to be able to document changes to transaction monitoring and custody surveillances systems and prepare regulatory documentation as a part of the deliverables for DFS Regulation Part 504.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize transaction monitoring solutions.
- Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks in transaction activities.
- Develop business and functional requirements for monitoring systems and processes.
- Support the implementation of regulatory compliance requirements within transaction monitoring systems.
- Conduct gap analyses to identify areas for improvement and propose actionable solutions.
- Participate in system testing, ensuring functionality aligns with business needs.
- Provide training and support to stakeholders on new systems and processes.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Profile
Must Have:
- Ability to write for an executive audience
- Exposure to partners/principles and senior stakeholders daily
- SQL
- Python is helpful but most is Oracle
- Need to be able to automate workflows
- People management or leadership/mentorship is preferred
