Client Details

They are a leading general contractor in South Florida with deep expertise in healthcare construction. Specializing in building and renovating hospitals, outpatient facilities, surgical centers, and medical office buildings. Our projects are driven by a commitment to patient safety, compliance, and innovation in healthcare delivery environments. In efforts to expand operations in the Fort Lauderdale area, they are seeking a Project Manager with proven experience in healthcare construction to lead high-impact projects.

Description

  • Plan, organize, and manage all phases of healthcare construction projects from start to finish.

  • Develop project budgets, schedules, and logistics plans in coordination with the field team.

  • Ensure compliance with AHCA, ICRA, and other healthcare-specific regulations.

  • Lead project meetings with owners, consultants, and subcontractors.

  • Procure materials, subcontractors, and vendors in alignment with project schedules.

  • Review and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications.

  • Track project costs, schedules, and quality to ensure objectives are met.

  • Maintain strong client relationships and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Collaborate closely with the Superintendent to ensure alignment between field and office teams.

Profile

  • 5-10+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least 3 years focused on healthcare projects.

  • Solid knowledge of healthcare construction standards, including AHCA and ICRA compliance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

  • Proficiency in project management tools (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.).

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and healthcare-specific infrastructure.

  • OSHA 30 certification required; ICRA certification preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally between job sites.
