Quality Engineer l Metals Manufacturer
Our client, a precision machining manufacturer serving the automotive industry, is seeking an entry-level Quality Engineer to join their team. This position offers direct mentorship from the Quality Manager and hands-on experience in areas such as corrective actions, root cause analysis, customer communication, PPAPs, and more.

Description
- Assist in the inspection and testing of automotive components to ensure they meet internal and customer quality standards
- Support the development and implementation of quality procedures and documentation, including control plans and work instructions
- Collaborate with production teams to investigate and resolve quality issues using root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes
- Participate in internal audits and help prepare reports for customer and regulatory audits
- Collect and analyze data to monitor product quality and identify areas for improvement
- Assist in the implementation of quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, PPAP, and APQP
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field (or in progress/final year students considered)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented with a passion for continuous improvement

Job Offer
- Base Salary up to $85,000
- Bonus based on personal performance
