Quality Manager- Electronics- Jordan, NY

The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet defined quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. They would oversee quality control systems, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate across teams to resolve issues and enhance overall product reliability and consistency.

Description

  • Establish and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality control processes across manufacturing operations
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for defects, nonconformances, and customer complaints
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to improve product quality and process efficiency
  • Manage supplier quality, including audits, evaluations, and performance monitoring
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Train and guide staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to maintain consistent performance

Profile

  • Strong knowledge of quality systems (e.g., ISO standards) and experience implementing them in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to lead root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions effectively
  • Solid understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, components, and testing methods
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience using data to identify trends and improve performance
  • Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills across engineering, production, and supply chain teams
  • Experience managing supplier quality, audits, and compliance requirements
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence
