Supplier Lead
This role will oversee strategic Suppliers to improve the equipment lead times, minimize bottlenecks in the order supply chain and improve the accuracy of data
Client Details
Client is a repeat company with excellent room for growth - they are onsite 4x a week
Description
Build and manage relationships with key strategic suppliers to foster collaboration and improve operational efficiency.
Maintain consistent communication with suppliers to review performance metrics, delivery timelines, and data integrity, proactively addressing any issues.
Oversee designated supplier equipment categories to ensure compliance with contracts, agreements, and service level expectations (SLAs).
Track and evaluate supplier performance, negotiate agreements, and apply best practices to strengthen supplier partnerships.
Conduct regular audits and evaluations of supplier processes to ensure quality and compliance.
Collaborate with procurement and other internal teams to align supplier management strategies with overall organizational objectives.
Promptly resolve supplier-related challenges or disputes to maintain smooth operations.
Assess market trends and supplier data to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous enhancement.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree required (MBA preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in working with large fleets and fleet suppliers
- Background in supply chain is preferred
- Experience working in data heavy environment, Excel, PowerBI
