Quality Operations Engineer

My client is seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring that our manufacturing processes, products, and systems meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The successful candidate will collaborate across engineering, production, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and support customer satisfaction.

Description

The key responsibilities for the Quality Engineer are:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures in alignment with industry standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) for quality issues.
  • Partner with engineering and production teams to ensure product specifications and requirements are met.
  • Perform audits of internal processes, suppliers, and products to ensure compliance with ISO and other regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, providing reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by establishing quality plans and validation protocols.
  • Act as a liaison with customers regarding quality concerns, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce defects, and improve overall product quality.

Profile

The successful Quality Engineer will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a quality engineering role within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, standards, and methodologies (Any automotive knowledge is preferred, but not required).
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and problem-solving tools.
  • Strong inspection experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience with supplier quality management and auditing is a plus.
