Real Estate, Associate
A mid to senior‑level real estate associate role within a New York‑based law firm. The position focuses on advising clients on commercial real estate transactions, financings, and workouts while working collaboratively with colleagues across offices.

A global law firm with a well‑established real estate practice advising clients on sophisticated commercial real estate matters. The team handles transactions, financings, and workouts and offers associates the opportunity to develop a broad skill set while collaborating with lawyers across multiple offices.
Description
- Provide legal advice and representation on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
- Draft, review, and negotiate real estate agreements and related documents.
- Conduct due diligence and identify potential risks in real estate deals.
- Advise clients on zoning, land use, and compliance with real estate regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client service delivery.
- Stay updated on legal trends and changes in real estate law.
- Support litigation matters related to real estate disputes when necessary.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service excellence.

Profile
A successful candidate should have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the New York State Bar or eligibility to obtain it.
- Strong knowledge of real estate law and regulations.
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- A client-focused mindset with excellent communication abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
