Construction Assistant Estimator

The Construction Assistant Estimator / Junior Estimator will support the estimating team in preparing accurate takeoffs, organizing bid documents, and assisting with cost analyses for ground-up projects. Description

As a Construction Assistant Estimator / Junior Estimator, you will be responsible for the following:

• Assist in preparing estimates for commercial and residential ground-up projects
• Perform quantity takeoffs and review project plans and specifications
• Help gather subcontractor quotes and maintain bid documents
• Support the estimating team with budgeting, bid organization, and cost tracking
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and field staff as needed

Profile

A successful Construction Assistant Estimator should have:

• 1-3 years of estimating or construction experience preferred
• Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and takeoff software
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus
