Senior Development Associate

Michael Page Seattle, WA (Onsite) Full-Time
$120,000 - $132,000/Year

My client are seeking a Senior Development Associate who can hit the ground running and own significant portions of the development process. You'll work closely with senior leadership to shepherd projects from site acquisition through design, entitlement, permitting, construction, and stabilization. This is a high‐visibility, high‐impact role with opportunities for growth and increased responsibility.

My client are an established mid‑market real estate development firm committed to delivering high‑quality, design‑driven multifamily (and/or mixed‑use) projects throughout the greater Seattle area. They pride themselves on balancing entrepreneurial agility with thoughtful discipline, strong financial underwriting, and lasting community impact.

Description

  • Lead underwriting and feasibility analyses for new development opportunities; build and maintain detailed financial models and pro formas.
  • Assist with site sourcing, due diligence, market & demographic research, and evaluation of development risk.
  • Oversee entitlement, permitting, and regulatory approval processes.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and local agencies to ensure project design, schedule, and budget alignment.
  • Manage project budgets, cash flow forecasts, construction draws, change orders, and project timelines.
  • Participate in negotiations with land sellers, joint venture partners, lenders, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare investment‐committee packages, status reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, zoning changes, and regulatory developments relevant to our projects.
  • Support project transition to operations/leasing when projects are near or at completion.

Profile

A successful Senior Development Associate should have:
