Interim Legal Counsel - Real Estate

We are seeking a skilled Interim Legal Counsel - Real Estate to join our legal team on a temporary basis. This position focuses on providing expert legal support in property management legal matters, landlord-tenant law, and affordable housing.

• Provide legal advice and guidance on property management legal matters.
• Handle landlord-tenant law issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Review, draft, and negotiate real estate contracts and agreements.
• Advise on affordable housing compliance and related legal requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address legal concerns.
• Manage legal risks and provide solutions to mitigate potential issues.
• Support litigation and dispute resolution processes as needed.
• Stay current with changes in real estate and housing laws.

Profile

A successful Interim Legal Counsel - Real Estate should have:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Immediate availability.
• Strong knowledge of property management legal issues and landlord-tenant law.
• Familiarity with affordable housing regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
