Description
- Prepares and estimates budget costs for construction by studying plans and specifications.
- Evaluates offers to purchase by site requirements, additions, and costing changes.
- Analyzes and resolves cost differences.
- Develop and present budgets, reports, and project plans.
- Develops bids for construction projects.
- Works closely with architects and other professionals.
- Schedules meetings with clients, contractors, site managers, and staff.
Profile
- 4-year college degree in engineering or construction management is desirable
- 2+ years of estimating experience preferably in the commercial space. Additional field experience and project engineering is desirable.
- Experienced and proficient in On-Screen Take-Off and Timberline estimating software is preferable but not mandatory assuming candidate has experience in similar applications.
- Proficient in MS Excel, FTP site, document distribution, storage and records management.
