Description

• Prepares and estimates budget costs for construction by studying plans and specifications.
• Evaluates offers to purchase by site requirements, additions, and costing changes.
• Analyzes and resolves cost differences.
• Develop and present budgets, reports, and project plans.
• Develops bids for construction projects.
• Works closely with architects and other professionals.
• Schedules meetings with clients, contractors, site managers, and staff.

Profile

• 4-year college degree in engineering or construction management is desirable
• 2+ years of estimating experience preferably in the commercial space. Additional field experience and project engineering is desirable.
• Experienced and proficient in On-Screen Take-Off and Timberline estimating software is preferable but not mandatory assuming candidate has experience in similar applications.
• Proficient in MS Excel, FTP site, document distribution, storage and records management.
