Project Manager - K-12 Construction

$110,000 - $130,000/Year

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead K-12 construction projects throughout the South Florida market, with a focus on schedule, budget, and quality delivery. This role will manage projects from preconstruction through closeout while coordinating closely with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

Description

  • Manage K-12 construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts

  • Coordinate with school districts, architects, engineers, and inspectors

  • Oversee subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and change orders

  • Ensure compliance with local codes, school district standards, and safety requirements

  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports to ownership

  • Collaborate closely with Superintendents to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery

Profile

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager on K-12 or public-sector construction projects

  • Proven experience working in the South Florida construction market

  • Strong knowledge of school district procedures, public bidding, and compliance requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in an active, occupied-campus environment

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
