Healthcare Construction General Superintendent

Leading national general contractor is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to oversee a newly awarded commercial project in Dublin, GA. This role offers the opportunity to lead field operations, ensure safety and quality, and deliver high-profile projects with the support of a strong project management team.

Description

• Overall project administration, leadership, and technical direction of ground up projects
• Manage bid requests, review bids, develop subcontracts
• Direct lead for estimating and take offs
• Handle all project buyout within designated time frame
• Review project submittals for conformance to contract documents from subcontractors
• Direction of all RFI's requested
• Direction of all Submittal's requested
• Develop and maintain site logistics plan
• Manage special Inspection Schedules
• Work directly with Architects, Engineers and Municipalities to ensure plans are designed per owner specifications and value engineered
• Manage schedules, including preparation of detailed short-term schedules and ensuring all activities take place on or ahead of scheduled dates
• Review Daily Reports and Safety Inspections from onsite Superintendents
• Organize, attend, participate, and lead project meetings, including subcontractor meetings involving pre-construction, scope of work, scheduling, safety, etc
• Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers etc.)
• Managing and multitasking multiple projects at a time
• Ability to read and understand blue prints, CAD files as well as Municipality code and requirements

Profile

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience
• At least 5 years in a Sr. Superintendent or General Superintendent position
• Project experience with active healthcare and medical office buildings required
• Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects from start to finish
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
• Ability to enforce safety policies and promote a zero-incident culture
• Comfortable working onsite and willing to travel as needed
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and client satisfaction

Job Offer

• Base salary range: $130,000 - $150,000 (Package is negotiable subject to experience)
