Quality Engineer- Manufacturing- Newbury, MA
This quality engineer role is responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes while ensuring products meet strict quality standards. The Quality Engineer will drive continuous improvement, lead root cause analysis, and collaborate across teams to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliance.

Description
The Key Responsibilities as a Quality Engineer:
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Inspect materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma.
Maintain accurate quality documentation and support ISO 9001:2015 compliance efforts.

The Successful Quality Engineer:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, ideally with exposure to metal fabrication, welding, or electronics assembly.
Strong problem-solving skills with knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
